Jasmine is a graduate of the University of Houston Downtown, with a BS in Psychology and received her Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University. Jasmine has experience working with individuals, adolescents, and adult/adolescent groups. Typical issues presented to Jasmine in therapy include relational and occupational stressors, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, anger management, impulse control issues, self-harm, inattention/focusing problems, bipolar disorder, grief/loss, post traumatic stress, and substance abuse. Jasmine’s style of therapy focuses on realistic principles and understanding to ones environment and circumstances, unconditional positive regard, and achieving goals. Jasmine believes that understanding what to do with our trauma is the key to end needless suffering in order to improve your quality of life.
