Yvonne is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who is fluent in both Spanish and English. She earned both her Bachelor and Master’s degrees from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She has worked in various settings with both adults and adolescents and has experience working with anxiety, depression, marital or relationship conflicts, parent/child conflicts, behavioral issues, acculturation, occupational issues, educational and post secondary-related problems, self harm, grief, and adjustment to life difficulties.
Yvonne strives to teach individuals in an empathetic and non-judgmental manner how to address unresolved or previously unaddressed experiences and manage their emotions in a healthy manner. She is committed to empowering individuals to overcome challenges and make conscious changes to improve their quality of life and increase their happiness and sense of peace.
