Shelby Taylor began her education at Everest College in 2013, during which time she received a strong fundamental education on Swedish massage, hydrotherapy, grades 1-4 joint-play, as well as a base understanding of fascial release, remedial exercise, and first-aid. In 2015, due to a surprise closure of Everest College, Shelby had the uncanny privilege of working as a Therapist under an experienced RMT -and reiki master- for a short duration wherein she was able to hone her skills and develop a keen interest in both massage and manual applied healthcare as a whole. In late 2015 Shelby was able to continue her education through Canadian College of Healthcare Science and Technology, receiving a diploma in 2016. Shelby became a registered member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario in 2016, as well as a member in good standing with the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario and is certified in both cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first-aid.
