Asbury First United Methodist Church and the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry have been providing free work physicals, health maintenance, and urgent care to the Rochester community for 10 years. The clinic is run by volunteers (medical students, social work students, physicians, and church members) and is dedicated to providing compassionate, professional, and quality care to uninsured and underinsured patients.
Services we provide:
Physical exams
PPD testing
Health education and preventative medicine
Social work, either on-site or by referral, every night
Pregnancy tests, condoms, contraceptive information
Services we do not provide:
Pediatrics (care for patients under 18 years old)
Prescriptions for opioids or benzodiazepines
Vaccinations other than the flu shot (seasonally)
